qwatz, residency for artists, based in Rome.

The project aims to carry out two basic activities: 1. an Artist Residency Program, based on internationally established practice and local connections. 2. the development of researches and projects investigating the relation between visual arts and cinema, and their impact on everyday life. Founding members: Benedetta di Loreto - director, Andrea Pagano di Melito - co-director. Actual panel: Alberto Grifi, independent cinema director; Norma Jeane, artist; Alessandra Galasso, curator and critic; 1: 1 projects, cultural association based in Rome and London. on-access, an ongoing project investigating the way art and culture approach the theme of cultural differences in everyday life. Curator (www.on-access.net, an archive and a platform developing a research on cultural differences.).

First related event: screening of the video Magical World by the Swedish artist Johanna Billing in different contexts: during different stops of the cruise Crociera Mediterranea di Zingara (July-September); at the MedVideoFestival in Paestum (14-17 September).

Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella, Italy. Assistant curator. Concept and realization of the exhibition Michelangelo Pistoletto & Cittadellarte &, at the Muhka Museum, in Antwerp, Belgium. Coordination of the catalogue. Responsible for the Cittadellarte Communication Office in Antwerp and coordination of projects between Italy and Belgium.

AIDS RIOT project, bilingual publication (English/French) written within the Curatorial Training Program at the Magasin, Contemporary Art Centre of Grenoble. The project deals with the activity of four artistic collectives reacting to the AIOS crisis in New York during the 80’s (General Idea; Group Material; Gran Fury; Gregg Bordowitz). It contains interviews and texts written during the 1980’s and 90’s, and original interviews by the 12th session of the curatorial program. The book is edited by the MAGASIN.

Italian Studio Program 2000-2002 P.S.1MoMA, graphic project, display, assistant to logistics and coordination for the exhibition at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. The exhibition showed Italian finalists at the PS1/MoMA Studio Program. It was organized by the ITALRE Group and ILL Y caffè.
