The 13th Ricard Foundation Prize is attributed to artist Katinka Bock, featured in the exhibition évocateur, designed by Elena Filipovic and presented at the Fondation d'entreprise Ricard until October 29, 2011.
Every year since 1999, the Prix Fondation d'entreprise Ricard has been awarded to an emerging artist on the young French art scene featured in an exhibition designed by an independent curator. Awarded by a jury of art critics and collectors (friends of the Centre Pompidou, the Palais de Tokyo, the Jeu de Paume...), the Prix consists in the purchase of a work from the winner, a work then donated to the Centre Pompidou and exhibited in the collections of the Musée national d'art moderne.
It is also worth noting that in 2009, the Centre Pompidou presented the works of all past winners in the exhibition Les Archipels réinventés. This anniversary show confirms the commitment of the Fondation d'entreprise Ricard, relayed from the beginning by the Centre Pompidou, whose collections also benefit from this close cooperation.
Yann Chateigné (1977, lives and works in Geneva) will be the curator of the 15th edition of the Fondation d'entreprise Ricard award.
