Azusa Hashimoto (Born 1978 in Shiga, Japan) is a curator at the National Museum of Art, Osaka since 2008. She got a Master's Degree in human environmental studies at Kyoto University. She organized Kaza Ana / Air Hole: Another Form of Conceptualism from Asia (March 2011, National Museum of Art, Osaka), a group exhibition of 9 artists focused on conceptual aspects of Asian contemporary art. She is specialized in contemporary art with a focus on Asian countries. She is currently preparing a co-curatorial group show, which will be held at PICA (Perth, Australia) in November.
