Sol Henaro

Sol Henaro (Mexico City, 1976) holds a Bachelor degree in art history (1996-2000) from the University of Claustro de Sor Juana, México City. In 2003 she followed Teratoma's Curatorial Studies program. In 2008 and 2009 she took part in the Independent Studies Program (PEI) at MACBA IN Barcelona, Spain.
Sol Henaro curated several individual and group exhibitions in diverse art spaces including the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Cámara Nacional de laIndustria Artística, Garash Gallery, Art & Idea Gallery, Museo Universitario MUCA ROMA (UNAM), Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC),Trienal de Chile. As its founder and Director (2003-2006), she curated many exhibitions of contemporary art at la Celda Contemporánea, an art space of the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana.
She currently works as Curator of the Contemporary art Collection of the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC) and is a member of Red Conceptualismos del Sur since 2010.
