Karina BISCH

Born in 1974 in Paris, lives and works in Paris.

Long involved in identifying the legacy of modern paintings on the facades of very banal buildings, Karina Bisch has been unleashing her work since 2005, resorting to primitivist rituals, decadent motifs, and totemic characters. Square and crazy, old-fashioned and futuristic, her sculptures or her paintings instill in the quiet geometry the dose of rococo it had always lacked.

Sophie BUENO-BOUTELLIER

Born in 1974 in Toulouse, lives and works in Berlin and Nice

With a soul connected to the mysteries of the cosmos and a mind enlightened by scientific writings, Sophie Bueno-Bouteiller imparts a chemical and spiritual dimension to her crumpled paintings and her totemic sculptures. This magical, almost alchemical alloy relies on the nature of the materials used (salt, ashes, sulfur, wool) as well as on their symbolic charge to weave together quasi-embryonic forms.

Damien CADIO

Born in 1975 in Mont Saint Aignan, lives and works in Berlin.

Tightening the frame and filtering the image are just as important in Damien Cadio's painting. At once close and distant, every detail - hair skillfully put into a bun, a stain on a shroud, or seams on a mattress - transpires through a palette of faded colors. This makes the painting tip over into a spatio-temporal hole, as if the canvasses lodged themselves in a blind spot, both in the visible and in time.

Etienne CHAMBAUD

Born in 1980 in Mulhouse, lives and works in Paris.

His works warmly coil up, emphasizing the process of their creation. Yet Etienne Chambaud soon pulls them out of their place, going back to work on them. So much so that in this conceptual work, a proposition is often matched with its reciprocal or its negative. The artist himself cultivates contradictions, practicing marquetry with square-ruled paper while claiming he does not want to work too much.

Mark GEFFRIAUD

Born in 1977 in Vitry-sur-Seine, lives and works in Paris.

Mark Geffriaud's apparatuses draw a continuous line between the invisible that may be touched by the look and what may be seen in thought. Translucent and magnifying effects as well as a use of the page (or the book) as tools in the representation of the world constitute the delicate grammar of an art that has to do with both the cosmos and alchemy.

Jimmy ROBERT

Born in 1975 in Guadeloupe, lives and works in Brussels.

His works on paper, put up carefully and meticulously, involve images (whether found or personal) related to the body: crumpled, taped, folded, they assume the tangible consistency of their medium, which itself takes on some of their aura. These contortions from photography to sculpture executed with much ease, these dance steps performed by the surface thanks to its medium, create the illusion that we could hold the visible tightly in our hands.

Clément RODZIELSKI

Born in 1979 in Albi, lives and works in Paris.

From the barely visible traces of paint sprayed on old movie posters to his opaque photographs of magazine pages, Clément Rodzielski works on images through their networks of diffusion and reproduction. Focused on the processes implemented in the course of its production, his cold and dark art is nevertheless pervaded with much humor.

Oscar TUAZON

Born in 1975 in Seattle (USA), lives and works in Paris.

A rough and ready sculptor with a passion for the hippie communities that people Oregon forests, Oscar Tuazon spent ten days in Alaska alone with his brother to build a small cabin. His art, which gives utopias a new form, also handles poor materials, whether stringy or granular, with a firm yet gentle touch.

Ida TURSIC & Wilfried MILLE

Born in 1974 in Belgrade and Boulogne sur mer, live and work in Dijon.

Their painting travels across genres, but in the end, from the portraits of seducing top models to the ill-defined landscapes, the subject remains the same: the image and its medium. The painting of the duo born in 1999 perfectly translates the wrenches, dark sides, mood swings, and successive divorces of this turbulent couple.
